My GPA is horrendous, spare me. I make all As but in my math classes I squeeze out a C every year. My dream school is UGA! Think I can make it?

thanks so much for your opinion, i’m still kinda anxious, though. many of my friends with much more impressive stats are applying to the same places.

agreed with Mamooie312 - you should be fine everywhere. Ranking, ACT score, and community service all look good! And you say that you barely get C’s in your Math classes, but an adcom should look at the fact that you have your school math award for AMC 10, and are on the math team - which show that you are eager to learn math, even if you aren’t a straight A student in the classroom for that particular subject. I’m also applying to Clemson this year…hopefully we both get in! Good luck!

Don’t know much about Auburn or UGA but I would think you are more than qualified. You are def IN at U South Carolina and Clemson. I would think you would get scholarship $$ and in-state tuition at south carolina. The kids I know that got into those schools this past year didn’t have that ACT score and your GPA is just fine. You could even probably shoot for more competitive schools - given your interesting story (skipped a year), URM status and your stats are certainly at least competitive.

Not sure that is correct on Auburn taking everyone - clarify which School/Department. In Architecture they limit it to 30 Fall/Spring and then in Summer after Freshman year they take on 60 more which must earn one of the additional 30 spots! Not so easy!
