<p>Counselors have a Common App site for themselves. If your school has the capability of generating electronic transcripts, they can fill out the school form (including their recommendation), attached your transcript and school profile, then hit submit. They have a status page to track their documents, just like you do on your Common App site.</p>
<p>They don't have to submit their documents this way, but it's a nice, time saving option for those with the right technology.</p>

<p>However, if I'm sending my transcript to Stanford do I use the "secondary report" label and send it in on a 9x12 envelope?</p>

<p>My school can not submit it online because they couldn't send the transcript. The counselor application won't let them submit it because it is not complete since they couldn't attach the transscript, so they have to do the entire thing by paper. It may be the same for your school.</p>
