okay Will getting one "C" in a class in this last spring semester get you rescinded? Or do you just have to maintain a 3.0? i'm so much in panic and i'm afraid even though
i still haven't received decisions from both college. My gpa is 3.88/4.0 but the problem is
what i might get "C" class is my preparatory coursework. Except this class, i completed all my 6 preparatory coursework. Person who i know got into UCLA though she had 2 "C"s in last spring but she mentioned that UCB offered to have at least B. I want to share with your thoughts.

My major is international studies and i have fulfilled 56unit by the last fall semester
and by this spring semester i will take 70unit “C” class is micro economic i;m screwed up

I don’t a see a international studies for UCLA

Econ/International studies right?

I’m not sure what to say Econ is one of the tougher to get into majors and if they accept they might require a b or better if not A or better on a core class. Best you can do is wait to see if your accepted and go from there

UCLA doesn’t look at the the major GPA for a Global Studies applicant, so I don’t think it would be much a problem. I HAVE, though, heard of one student being rescinded from Cal because he received a C-… But most community colleges don’t go by the +/- system. I think he was a UC to UC transfer.

(There’s absolutely nothing you can do to raise it?)

Yip! It might! I have a friend who were major in Double E and got accepted by UCLA, but ended a C of Physics class in the Spring Quarter before transfer, and rescinded admission. Too bad he kept this secret until last month, we were so amazed because everyone thought he’s in UCLA by the time.
