Hi all!
I was wondering if UC's can see your previous application if you've applied to the UC system previously. For example, if I applied during senior year and am reapplying, could they have access too/see my previous application. Thanks!

Yes, they have access to the previous application. In other words, make sure you are careful in reporting and don’t leave out any details that should be stated in your application. The last thing you want to do at this point is risk your admission.

@Osiq- Do you know that for a fact, or is your opinion? If its a fact, how do you know this? Thanks.

I don’t think they will use it to revalue your current application. Yes, they probably can look it up on their archives(they won’t even do this), but it won’t affect your current app. This is just a speculation.

If we as the students can view our TAG application from years before, it *must *be in the UC DB. I never stated that they **would **go back and look at previous applications, but if something doesn’t match with a high school senior’s application and their application as a transfer, I see it quite unlikely that UC would let it slip.

If this were false, are you saying that someone can get away with not reporting something they had reported on the app as a senior in HS?

I will be transferring this upcoming year. Submitted a TAG last year and got rejected, but I can see all the information I had submitted.

I’m not speaking of not reporting grades or anything so sinister. Everything you may have mentioned at one point in your life may not be something you want to highlight years later. I was just curious.

No they don’t look.
