Your GPA is good enough and your EC is decent. However your SAT 1 score is going to really hurt your chances. When you take the ACT to get a fairly good chance of admission you will need around a 27+. Admissions change from year to year depending on how many spots are open and how many students apply so its hard to give a percent chance. To give you an idea though I had a 1830 SAT and a 3.86 GPA, 27 ACT, 770 and 680 SAT II, tons of ECs, but fairly average essays, and I was wait listed before I was accepted. Though I should note admissions the year I applied were lower than usual.
Those essays, while may be difficult to write, are very important to the admission process. If you make yours stand out from the crowd you will have a good shot on admission. Overall you have a shot but make sure you’re looking into other schools.

Everything seems perfect and on track for UCSB. However, could you take your SAT again? It is quite low and thats the one thing that might hurt you. Everything else is up to par.

@muserz and amby262roy…I will not take the SAT because I am pretty sure that my scores will be around the same however I will take the ACT and hopefully will be able to get around 26ish…Thanks BTW!
