For example, can a girl at UCSD take a computer science class required of her major at a local community college for credit towards graduation?

In some cases. Check assist.org

This is what my major preparation from assist says:

“Transfer students are strongly advised to complete as many preparatory courses
as soon as possible for their major before enrolling at UC San Diego. Preparing
well for the major helps students move efficiently toward graduation.”

Just hoping that not completing all the major classes will deter me from admission. But then again, it is guaranteed… haha

So, though I may not need complete all of the major classes before transfer, I will need to complete them before UCSD graduation, yes?

I just want to fully ensure I can take them at a community college.

[How to Enroll in Classes at CSU Campuses](http://www.ucsd.edu/current-students/academics/enroll/special-enrollment/classes-at-csu.html)

You can enroll in csu’s for a low price too. One class a quarter.

Thank you for the link iTransfer. I just want to ensure I have a good professor for whichever leftover courses I must complete. I will take them wherever I may need to go.
