So generally my grades are really good, except for AP Calculus AB/BC ...

2nd Semester Grades so far:

AP Calculus AB- F
AP Calculus BC- F
AP Biology - A
Biology 2- A
AP Microeconomics- B
AP English Lit- A
Intern- A

I'm struggling so hard to pull it up but since we started BC topics it just seems impossible, what makes it worse is that it's a two credit course so If I receive an F, it will count twice... What are the chances that my admission will be revoked?

UF hates “F’s”, so there’s a pretty good chance it could be revoked.
Cross your fingers, and try your absolute best to bring it up to a “C”.

Even though its a class that I don’t need for graduation? I will graduate with or without the Calculus credit, this class was basically an extra 2 math credits for me.

I don’t think they would revoke it just because you have found Calculus too hard.

They have accepted many students who were too “cowardly” to even attempt taking Calculus.

That being said, I would meet with the teacher, and see if there is anything you can do to get your grade up to a “C”. (Retake some tests, etc). (Get a tutor). If the teacher sees you are at least trying, he or she might cut you a break. Don’t beg for leniency. That will turn the teacher off. Ask for the chance to do extra work to improve.

I doubt they will revoke it honestly. Still, it should be your first priority and you should try to get it up to a C as previous posters have said.

Luckily you have time to pull it up.

I’m taking BC now as well (online) so it’s kind of a nightmare. There are some great videos out there on the internet/youtube which if you follow along with help A TON.

Maybe the person I emailed wasn’t that much of a help and just made it sound like a life or death situation… I guess if all else fails then I’ll do grade recovery then… It isn’t really a class that I need to graduate with either, I just took it because I thought it would be more useful.
