Can undergrads stay on campus during holidays?

I am wondering can undergrads stay on campus during Christmas and summer break. And do people go home for short breaks like thanks giving or mid-terms?

I am also wondering about this.

I don’t go to Wes, but I’m assuming you can if you pay. I heard there was a new summer session- that means they need to dorm students. I don’t know about winter break. And I’m also assuming that Wesleyan is not completely strange- so yes, students go home during Thanksgiving (although I don’t know the percentage or anything).

for the shorter breaks, most people at least leave campus and stay with a friend if they can’t afford/don’t want to fly back home. some people stay on-campus for those shorter breaks, especially international students. the hours of on-campus food places are reduced, but not eliminated, during those breaks.

I think you need to request permission to stay over winter break, but it’s possible. you will have to pay to live on campus over the summer–there are designated dorms for things like summer session, so you’ll almost certainly have to move. I hear living in one of the frats is relatively cheap.

For the shorter breaks you don’t have to pay to stay on campus. But you do have to pay to stay here for summer break.
