Can undergrads take 200+ classes

...if prereqs are met?

I'm not sure what this question is trying to get at...

If you are asking if an undergrad can take over 200 classes, that would mean taking an incredibly difficult courseload for...about 40 semesters, or 20 years. Berkeley won't let you say for that long, so no this isn't possible.

If you are asking if an undergrad can take classes with over 200 people, there are quite a few of those at Berkeley so it's very possible.

Otherwise I'm not sure what the question is.

I believe the OP means the courses numbered 200+, the graduate courses.

Some departments allow undergrads to take grad courses provided that the instructor allows it.

The professional schools (Haas, Boalt, Optometry) obviously will not allow that.

Yeah, just talk to the prof. It helps if you know them ahead of time.

Golden Bear is correct. It varies by department and you will need the professor's consent.

"If you are asking if an undergrad can take over 200 classes, that would mean taking an incredibly difficult courseload for...about 40 semesters, or 20 years."

lol I was thinking that too. Then I realized it's probably the course number...
