I know it's a terrible idea but can we set up a new account and omit the old one which i got bad scores on?
I know i can't and i won't. I am just wondering. Cuz my friends told me so.......

You CAN, like you CAN apply to a college under multiple names to increase your chances. It’s a terrible idea that will lead to consequences when you get caught, but there’s nothing preventing you from doing it…

Does the application ask for all your SAT scores? In that case it’s a moot point even if you have a different account unless you want to lie on the application. A bit like a “have you been convicted?” in a job application - it doesn’t matter if it was in Timbuktoo and your employer will never find out, but it’s your obligation to come clean.

Can’t they tie it back to you by DOB, SSN, name etc.

How can you unless you have a new SSN number. Most schools super score anyway, there is not much of a reason to hide your lower score.

Um, how could you apply to colleges under different names if you only have your one midyear/secondary school report?

And I’m sure once you enroll they’ll ask for identification at some point…

Some kinda friends they are.

Obviously you’d have to enroll at multiple high schools under phony identities and attend at least part time at each one so that you can have a record of attending. And of course to support that you would need multiple junior high and elementary schools for each identity.

A fake ID is probably the easiest part of applying under multiple names. Just make sure that it doesn’t say McLovin.

There are many people with the same name, and you can open a new account with the same name without entering school code. I am pretty sure school code is optional. The difficult part is how you come up with new SSN.

I’m sure SSN is optional too

Okay, but once you get into a college under someone else’s name, you’d have to keep up this identity for the rest of your life. Haha doesn’t sound worth it at all.

And school codes aren’t optional? I mean, you have to have a high school diploma. Colleges want to know where you are attending.

Let me summarize people’s post to ease confusion
I haven’t tried these myself, so don’t take my word.

It seems like the school code and SSN are optional to register for college board. And registering with the same name should not be a problem. So, you won’t be faking your name or anything. About the school code, unless the high school or college requires it, it is probably not necessary. And unless the high school requires students to report scores to the school so they can put it in their transcript, I don’t think it’ll be included in the transcript/mid-year report either; you’ll just send it to the colleges directly from collegeboard.

Am I misunderstanding it… or wasn’t the OP just asking about SAT scores? Not applying to colleges under multiple names?
You could open multiple collegeboard accounts… as long as you have multiple email addresses, there’s nothing stopping you.
