Can we deprive Stanford from its 19th straight Director's Cup?

Stanford is currently #1 with 749.5 points. Michigan is #2 with 746 points. With both men's and women's gymnastics coming up, a strong performance in both could propel us ahead of the Cardinal. We'll definitely finish in the top 5 for the 10th time in 20 years.

rjk wants to know where Duke sits in the standings ;)

Seriously - Go Blue!

Ok, so Michigan won the NC for men’s swimming and men’s gymnastics. Our Women’s Gymnastics team also did well. We should now be #1 according to the Director’s Cup formula. The question is, can we maintain it or will Stanford win it for the 19th straight time?

Well, at least for the next 5 weeks, Michigan will be #1. However, given the number of sports remaining (10 in all I believe), I doubt we will hold on to #1.
