I know there are a few colleges whose essay/personal statement prompts never change, meaning the one they release this year will be the same as last year’s. Does anybody know some colleges who do this so we can get started right now and not have to wait for colleges to release their prompts? I know the UC personal statement is one of these… what are some others?
Oh course you can! It probably would be wiser to start now especially since some of the colleges already put up their supplement topics of their websites. Check to see if the schools you are applying to have them up and if not, its only a week or so left until pretty much all the supplements are out
If you’re talking about the common app, only 1 of them changed (from place your content to a question you’d like to solve). Search it up and you’ll find the new 2015-2016 list of prompts. For other colleges that have specific essays, the best you can do is go on their website and see if they updated it. If not, all essay prompts are usually released Aug 1.

If they do the CA, pick a 2015-2016 CA prompt as noted, and get started.
Many colleges have had and will have “Why College A?” prompts. Some have “what did you read last summer?” prompts, so it might be a good bet to read a great book in the next few weeks just in case…
