I've read somewhere that we can go to which ever discussion we want, as long as its under the same lecture.

Is this true?

I've read somewhere that we can go to which ever discussion we want, as long as its under the same lecture.

Is this true?

this is true for chemistry.

not bio or physics

math dis are usually optional except for thursdays which is when u take ur quiz.

Depends on the class. Ask your prof to see if you can for that particular class.

if you are taking quizes or what not- no, you need to go to your assigned discussion.

if you are just reviewing or doing worksheets-go whenever you please or not at all.

Attendance is mandatory in some classes and you have to sign up for a specific section, because the TA will give quizzes and grade assignments and papers. (If you have a one time conflict, you can often arrange in advance to attend a different section ). In other classes attendance is optional and more flexible.

Not always. Whatever discussion you sign up for is generally the one you need to take because of attendance, quizzes and homework that is given out. Just find out in the fall and ask for sure. Most classes don’t allow people to change groups when they want to.
