I'm just curious, cause looking around on this forum I can't find many stats/experiences on transferring. If there's already a thread on that please link me to it, I suppose

Do a Search, every year there are general and individual school results threads. I will be starting the general one in May when the bulk of the decisions come out.

Are the results on this transfer thread, or on the individual schools threads? Thanks for the info though

Well, here’s a 31 page thread from this year that has a lot of people’s stats that are applying for this year. Do some searching around for previous years, if that’s what you are looking for. I’m not quite sure where to find them myself. Any ideas, entomom? I tried a few different searches, but couldn’t find the previous years’ “I got into Berkeley” thread or anything.

^ yeah, that’s what I was talking about. I can find a lot of people’s stats that are applying for transfers, but no actually news on whether they got in or not. I’m just curious cause I might be a future transfer and need some reference

Here are some 2008 & 2009 general results threads. In looking at the individual school threads, most are discussion rather than stats and results. I will poke around some more and see what I can find.

^ great threads entomom, thanks. i wish i had seen that when i was applying lol but yay for future applicants (though to be fair, i only applied to one school both times haha) but seriously, this will help others tremendously and i will reference it when i help my brother go through the transfer process. thanks again!

iu, glad that they’re useful. I will start a sticky thread with results threads so that these don’t get lost/difficult to find.

so I have been accepted to four schools, where do I put the results?

^^^Please see my post #2. The reason I am waiting until May is because if I start now, people will post incomplete results and keep adding posts when they get more decisions. Such a thread is of more value to current and particularly future applicants if each member posts ONCE with ALL of their results. When I make the thread I will sticky it to the top of the forum.

Anyone find this very hard to believe?

^^^ Techerds

CCC have transfer articulated agreements or something along those lines with regional schools. And no its the GCC student case is actually quite believable. I’m from Pasadena CC and USC disregards HS records after 30units. There are different pre-reqs for diff. majors but if they could be completed at USC the main thing is to complete the math and english requirements before transfer.

Techerdz, why did you ask if you weren’t going to pay attention to the answer??
