<p>This is my first post so excuse me if this is the wrong area. I have taken both the SAT and ACT and decently better on the ACT. I have 2 very good SAT subject scores that boost my acceptance chances but I am confused if we can do ACT + SAT Subject Tests or do we have to submit SAT + SAT Subject tests?</p>

<p>It really depends on the school. Many highly selective schools require either the ACT with writing OR the SAT with 2 subject test scores. There are a handful, like Harvard and Princeton that require 2 SAT subject tests even if you took the ACT. There are schools where submitting SAT subject test scores have no bearing on admission, and others where they could tip the scale in your favor. The best thing to do would be to look at each individual school’s policy regarding standardized test requirements.</p>
<p>Sorry if I was unclear. My question is, to submit subject test scores do I HAVE TO submit them along with regular SAT or can I submit them with ACT and leave out my regular SAT?</p>

<p>If the school does not accept score choice (like Yale or Penn), then if you submit the SAT subject tests, they require all SAT tests to be submitted (in the end, you still have control over what gets sent, but the schools that do not accept score choice make it clear that you need to submit it all). If you choose to submit the ACT only, then they will want all the ACT scores. If the school accepts score choice, then you can decide which test scores should be sent. However, some high schools apparently put test scores on the HS transcript, so in that case, you really couldn’t try to hide those scores from schools that do not accept score choice.</p>
<p>I understand your question. It’s quite confusing actually. I think you know you can either or ACT/SAT. The question is ACT + subject OR SAT + ACT+ subject…I advise you to contact the admission to be sure. You don’t want them to think you are hiding something, especially if your high school transcript shows your SAT scores.</p>
