Can we submit the short answer questions after we submit the application?

On Pittsburgh's website it says " Note: The Personal Essay and letters of recommendation are optional, and can be submitted after you submit your application, however, keep in mind that the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid practices a rolling admission policy. Once your required information has been received, your file will be considered complete and will go before committee. Consequently, if you plan to submit supplemental information, we strongly recommend that you make every effort to submit this information at the same time as your application." DOES THIS INCLUDE THE SHORT ANSWER QUESTIONS?
Describe yourself in 140 characters or less.
In 140 characters or less, describe why Pitt is a good choice for you.
Describe a situation where things were working against you. What did you handle well and what would you change if you had to do it over?

I would send in everything together.

I agrre with @mommdc Since there is space right on the application for the essay and the short answer questions, I see no reason not to just submit them on the application. Note that, while the essay and short answer questions are optional, I think it explicitly states that you are to do all or none.

@Ame1023, Pitt Admissions staff here. You can submit the questions later, if you choose. Just send it to oafa@pitt.edu as a PDF document with your name, address, and date of birth on the document so we can match it with your other materials.

Do keep in mind that as soon as we consider your application complete (app, $45 fee, transcript, test scores) it could be reviewed for admission at any time. If you choose to send supplemental materials separately, you are advised to send them as soon as you can in order for them to be reviewed with the rest of your application.
