Can you answer my ACT question?

I cant seem time find an answer to this question:
My best ACT score is without writing, but several universities that I am applying to require the writing. I do have the writing done but on a different test.
What do I do?

Send the one with writing or both (if they superscore the ACT).

Unfortunately, most colleges do not say what they do with an ACT without writing when you comply with requirement to submit one with writing. And it is not, as mentioned above, just an issue of whether they superscore ACT. The issue is whether they will consider one without writing at all regardless of whether they superscore. To find out you really need to contact colleges if you cannot find the answer on their site. If you do not want to do that just send both on the chance they will consider it even if you do not know whether they will. I do know that UIUC, which does not superscore and requires an ACT with writing, will use the one without writing for admission if it is higher than one submitted with writing. I was also informed a few years ago by Yale that it will not use one without writing.
