can you answer this simple question real quick, please?

thanks for looking!

when you get into college, you are trying to build up your gpa, your extracurriculars, your SAT score...but when you get into a college, you are done with this stuff. well....am i right with that?

lets say i attend the university of washington. i make it into the college, then apply for the business part of it my sophomore year. what are they going to be looking at?

are they still going to be looking at my sats from my junior year? what about stuff i did earlier in life, like any volunteer work? or, are they going to just exaime how ive done from my freshman year at their college?

(does this make sense? do you get what im asking)

thank you for your time!

they'll try to see what (if anything) you have accomplished during college.

I'm not exactly sure...but I think all of your high school credentials are thrown out once you get to college. They will be looking at how you performed your freshman year, and looking at work you did.

Actually it depends entirely on how the school is ranked. If you are applying to Harvard Business school or various graduate schools at any of the other ivies for that matter, they will be interested in knowing your highschool GPA and if you did research or things like that during your highschool years, these could help you. Also, when job searching, potential employers might be interested in knowing your high school GPA. But, all in all, I don't think performance in high school will hinder you that much, and can probably only help you.

alright...thank you! actually yeah im applying to university of washington haha
