can you appeal if you change your major?

If i wanted to appeal because i changed the subject that i wanted to major on a reasonable reason? I put biology on the applications, and it put me in a more competitive pool of students, and i think that is why i got rejected. Uc's to be more specific?

U can always try but most colleges know that your stated major is extremely likely to change. Unless there is something significantly mistaken about your file (incomplete or wrong transcripts, etc.)that you need to correct or you win some stunning honor, i don't think this one component will change the outcome...

However, good luck to you.

t26e4... i dont know if this will make a difference or not, bu for my UC apps i didnt put that i will be joining varsity track. The reason why is that the apps were due before track try outs. So i can i appeal on those grounds? And i am also questioning my major alot now. If the track reason is a good enough reason to appeal, could i state undeclared, or would it better to state business, because i own an online business (which i stated in my application), and i don't know if that would help in getting me in as a business major. I got a 2.97 UC GPA with 28 ACT. But i think i got my mind set on the whole CC transfer to a private university thing. I just want to know if i have a chance or not to appeal.
thanks,
