I go to a target school, and I've noticed on my school's recruiting/job search website that the same ibank have a number of different positions available. Are you only supposed to apply to one per bank, or does it improve your chances to apply for multiple positions?

(I know recruiting at BB is over; I just wanted to know this information for next year)

Yes, you can apply for multiple positions, but you should be able to explain well why you applied for each. If you make it past the first round, generally they make you choose one.

it depends on the REGION (Americas, Europe, Asia) and the Bank
e.g. these might change, but I happen to remember these off the top of my head
Barclays - 1 job in 1 region per year. [if you apply Barclays Wealth you cannot apply Barclays IBD)
Goldman - 2 jobs in 2 regions
Credit Suisse - you can apply to different number of jobs depending on the region
JP Morgan - as many as you want
