Can you apply for SEO during college?

I've seen a flyer at MIT for SEO, and I know that this prestigious internship for underrepresented minorities and the like (kind of like Posse Foundation), however, I've seen on their website that they only have a 8th and 9th grade application. I had never even heard of SEO or Posse Foundation in high school (At Boston Latin), and I regret now knowing about them now since I am pursuing investment bank and consulting firm internships (M&A, IT, NASDAQ Trading, etc).

Someone on this board was accepted too. Is this invitiation based like Golden Key, or by application?

Thanks for all the help in clearing this up!

hey james did u mean "during high school"? i guess you're talking about the SEO scholars program. that one is only for kids in NYC.

Oh Yuki, yes I was talking abou the SEO scholars program. Thanks for bringing it up!

yes, its for juniors and seniors only. SEO had a presentation at my school, sounded like a great opportunity. Too bad i'm a sophmore =(

@hobo:too good u'r a sophomore. can apply nxt year!

@james: i dun think u needa regret at all. u might have missed a good opportunity but u will find even greater ones later. if u think u lost an advantage bc of that program, well, harder games are more fun to play.

you can apply for SEO when you're in college... or at least some of my college friends were applying to it.

it's not an honor society... it's more like an internship placement program

i'm assuming we're talking about the same thing
