I am just wondering if I am over anticipating or being over confident.

is it still possible to be rejected for TAG even with the requirements met from the checklists to the different schools?

I know someone will say "well then it wouldnt be guaranteed" but it's just that it sounds TOO GOOD to be true.

I was also wondering how a TAG might be rejected even if you meet the general limitations.

Anyone with the info?

You wont be rejected… GUARANTEE means GUARANTEE. Meet the GPA and major/GE requirements and you’re in. Simple as that. And dont get any D or F during spring prior to transfer.

Yes it is possible to be rejected if they have far too many applicants who are IGETC qualified and your gpa is at the minimum.

Get a TAG appointment for next year asap

Not possible, I know a couple of people who got rejected last year despite the tag but they called and figured that the UC screwed up and got back in.

TAG appointment?

and cool looks like i should be good then even with my GPA @3.3 at the end of this summer for poly sci.

Having too many applicants won’t be an issue this year since they’re limiting TAG to one school but regardless, I don’t believe that was correct information.

The only people who were rejected with TAG were those who overlooked a particular requirement or, like totaldj said, a few people who the UCs THOUGHT had overlooked a requirement (who were able to appeal their admission easily).
