Can you believe it?

Like most people on this site, I have frequented the various threads and forums in the past couple of years desparately trying to divine some idea of how to get into THAT school. Undoubtedly owing to vast volumes of stats threads and official scea threads, the challenge of the application became a distant recreation; it was something I often thought about and analyzed but couldn't imagine actually completing.

It's strange now to be a part of that "official" thread I've seen heading the Yale forum for what seems like so long. Like legions of others, I await what statistics tell us must be rejection but what hope tells us could be acceptance. I'm grateful I ran across this site one bored night, and I thank those who have contributed to its success.

There you go, I'm finished. Now back to my skeptical self.

Don't worry, I feel exactly the same way. And I'm sure everyone else does too--don't make it too much of a big deal, though. Everyone ends up at college and enjoys it, except for a small group of people who didn't work hard in high school and had to settle. Not us! We'll end up somewhere good!

I'm more excited than astonished. But yes, this site has been very telling.
