Hi, I'm a rising senior and am applying to colleges this fall. I currently have taken the new SAT I and two SAT II subject test. I was planning to take a third one in october, but my scores on the practice tests have been relatively low compared to my other SAT IIs. Most of the colleges I'm applying to only require two SAT II Subject tests and so I was wondering, can I cancel my third score AFTER I see it? Is there any way to show SOME schools my bad third SAT II but not the others?

No, you have to cancel scores by the Wednesday after you take the test (it was something like that), and you see the scores about two weeks later. You can't select which SATIIs to show; the whole thing comes up on the record. You can record your best ones on the application and hope someone other than the adcoms check the collegeboard paper that comes in (I think they only use that to prove you aren't lying).

Do you guess know what is the process of canceling score? How do you do it on the collegeboard website because I can't seem to find the option. Also, anyone know the deadline to cancel scores for the October SAT?

I don't think you can cancel online. During the test, they make the whole speech about "if you need to cancel your scores, fill out this form..." I wasn't paying too close attention, but I think you need to talk to the proctor and ask when you take the test.

to cancle BEFORE you leave the room, you need to ask the proctor for a form (or just erase ALL your answers - automatic request to cancle). to cancle AFTER (there's a deadline.. something like 1st or 2nd wed after your test), you either FAX or MAIL it to collegeboard. i remember there's this whole article on collegeboard about how to cancle.
