Hi,
I am a US citizen currently living abroad and doing the IB Diploma Program. I attended grades 9 and 10 in the US and didn't get good grades. At the moment I am in grade 11 and am deciding on which American universities I should apply to.

My stats:

2150 Sat(retaking in May aiming for 2300)
800 Math level 2
800 US History

Ib predict grades
Economics HL - 7
English HL - 5
History HL - 6
Math SL - 7
Chemistry SL - 7
German Abinitio SL - 6
38/42

Ec's:
Tanzania Charity(going to build a school in Tanzania with several students and teachers)
50 hours community service helping at an EMT
JV Soccer
Model UN(grades 9 and 10)
Worked for a tech startup in 9th grade created by fellow students in the school
Worked for one of my dads friends companies in the summer(Rosterz Hockey, NFLWeather.com)
Mercer Junior Rowing Club Crew for one season

I am a legacy at Yale and Upenn-Wharton (my parents went to grad school there).

Will my poor results in 9th and 10th grade hinder my possibilities even though i'm at a new school which doesn't follow the American curriculum and considers the Ib to be the most important part of college apps?

I am mainly interested in Economics and International Relations.

Can you chance me for the following universities class of 2019?
Upenn, UMichigan, UChicago - all early
Stanford, UC berkeley and LA, Yale,Northwestern, JHU, NYU, and Bu.

If my essays are excellent do I have a shot?
