Can you change schools once admitted.

I am an international student and am looking for some clarity in the process of changing majors.

I got accepted to the School of Letters, Arts and Sciences for an Economics Major.
However, this was my second choice after Business at Marshall School of Business.

If I decide to enroll, can you change majors?
Can you change majors from one school to another within USC?

At what point of time can you do this, and how likely is to move from Economics to Business at Marshall.

Will there be any conditions, such as a minimum maintained GPA, or something like that?

Please let me know, if there is a good chance of changing to Marshall.

Thanx

Yes you can change majors. I believe that it is done after the first year or after two semesters. Get good grades in all your classes. Take a few introductory classes in your desired major (these are open to all). Get good grades and meet your professor for added support, if necessary.

Prerequisites for Admission to the Marshall School of Business for Current USC or Transfer Students:

Undergraduate Marshall School of Business Admission Office: 213-740-8885, BRI 105

Admission includes successful completion (at least B’s or better) of the following prerequisites or their equivalents:

WRIT 140 Writing and Critical Issues (4)
ECON 203 Principles of Microeconomics (4)
ECON 205 Principles of Macroeconomics (4)
MATH 118 Fundamental Principles of Calculus (4)
MATH 218 Probability for Business (4)

Transfer students will be admissible without having completed the equivalent of MATH 218 since most colleges do not offer this course. These students will be expected to complete this course during their first semester of enrollment.
