Can you do both LAH and BHP or LAH + McCombs

I read somewhere about LAH strongly discorage double major in LAH and BHP or LAH + McComb. Does this mean that once you are accepted into McCombs, then you are not alllowed to pursue LAH course if you are admiited to to LAH? It is a shame that they don't allow combination of BHP+LAH but allow BHP+PlanII

I bet they do allow it. Besides, LAH isn’t a major.

“Liberal Arts Honors, as is it exists now, was created about 15 years ago. LAH is much more focused on the true liberal arts student and frankly discourages applicants seriously considering Business or Communications majors.”

[UT College of Liberal Arts](<a href=“Plan II Honors Program | Liberal Arts | UT - Austin”>Plan II Honors Program | Liberal Arts | UT - Austin)

It’s in plain english right here that you should not, but seeing that they don’t explicitly disallow it maybe you can force your way into both through sheer pigheadedness.

The reason they allow Plan II and BHP is because at the core of Plan II is a broad base education. For LAH the core of that program is a LA focused education. See the difference? If doing business while pursuing some other courses is important to you, why not Plan II?
