Can you edit the CA after submitting to EA/ED schools?

<p>According to my guidance counselor, when one school's application is submitted, the common part of the CA freezes, and you can't go back to edit it. Therefore, if you submit the CA for EA/ED, you can only edit the supplements of other colleges on your list.</p>

<p>Is this true? ;_;</p>

<p>I only know for sure that after you submit a supplement, you can no longer change it.</p>

<p>yes. i sent the app to one of my schools and now i cannot change it for the others.</p>

<p>IIRC, you can change your application; I think you have rename it or something. It is a bit confusing, but it can be done, or at least you could two years ago.</p>

<p>My counselor said that you can’t change your Common App essay after you’ve submitted your application via CA to your EA/ED schools so I guess what barefoot said is correct.</p>
