Here are some public universities with great merit for OOS students.
University of Alabama…guaranteed with certain SAT/ACT and GPA.
University of South Carolina- good OOS awards. McKissick and Cooper are awarded based on the strength of your application. McNair requires a separate application.
University of Oklahoma…or is it OK State? Great award for NMS folks.
Read the links on this thread. They will give you some good ideas where aid is available to OOS students. Plus other schools that are less costly.
You can read this yourself and see if your stats put you in the running. No one here can give you good info without knowing your stats.
