I was foolish to not apply for the 6 year pharmd program when I applied to this school. Is there any way you can get into the program after you've been admitted as a normal undergrad?

I don’t think so. Call the school to be sure tho.

My guess is you would have to apply for internal transfer AFTER completing some undergrad courses, just do your best to ensure they’re transferable credits. I can’t imagine there are many instances in which a university will be a 100% NO YOU CAN’T DO X if the case is sound enough.

Call admissions but I believe NU does not allow internal transfers to pharmacy.

Yes! They do, but it is a process that depends upon a number of conditions.

This was 6 years ago, but our DS was originally admitted for engineering, but before he registered, he requested to be changed to pharmacy. His application was reviewed and NU was able to switch him over to Bouve College as a pharmacy major before he registered for his freshman year. He’s graduating in two weeks with a pharmD!

I believe there is an application in your admitted student portal for an internal transfer. If they won’t let you do this, you can apply later, but the process is competitive (unlike many other majors, where you can transfer if you simply taken the right classes).
