Can you give advice for getting accepted to MIT from IB?

I am a student studying in the IB. Can you give me some advice on what should I try to do to get accepted to MIT?
Thanks.

Let’s start off with the scores because it’s a standard across the nation. You would need a 34+ preferably to fall into the candidate pool that is capable of handling the course load at MIT.

My predicted IB grade points is 40 with 7’s in Physics, Math ,Chem HL, Psy, Spanish SL and 5 in Eng SL

Going to take Further Math HL

In the US, most IB exams are taken after colleges make admissions decisions. Predicted IBs are not evaluated.

Sure they are. If you have been doing the IB for a long time (for example, my 11-year old daughter is at a school doing the IB middle years program), then that is all there is to go on. As you observe, students only get their IB diploma scores after admissions decisions are made. You will not have anything but predicted grades for the IB. Some countries get around that with conditional offers (so a UK university might admit you contingent on your achieving a certain IB score). American universities evaluate you with the data they have including what your school predicts your IB scores are most likely to be. I have seen many students get in with their school’s predicted IB scores. Many schools doing the IB diploma do not give grades, rather you have your IB scores as the only measure of performance.
