I believe that I have really strong essays.
Please chance me as Berkeley is my dream school and I'm really stressed that I won't have a chance :/

freshman grades aren’t counted in the GPA actually. I did really bad my freshman year because of personal issues receiving a 3.0 GPA (awful, I know)

Unfortunately, your math SAT is pretty low, but your CR/W are fantastic. I wouldn’t say it rules you out, but if you write fantastic essays, you could still get in. I would say that’s the weakest part of your app, and it doesn’t leave a lot of room for error in other places. However, it might not be as bad if you’re not looking to major in a sci/math. Your ECs are good, but they don’t show a lot of focus on a single area. Overall, I think Berkeley would be a high match, also depending on if you live in Cali. Good Luck!!

I’m not applying for engineering haha. I’m applying into Letters and Sciences for Computer Science because I took a college level class in the summer and did well. Would that be okay?
