Are all ivy leagues reach for me? I heard even I am in the range, all ivy league schools are reach for everyone. It it true? Can you guys tell me that which one is match for me from my list??

Brown, Columbia, U penn, Harvard, Cornell, Dartmouth, JHU, Northwestern, U of Notre Dame, Georgetown, UMich, WashU

Thank you~!

Oh, as my username implies, my ethnicity is Asian and I am an female. I am an international student but I do not need FA!

Hello Kim, nice SAT score!

To make a more accurate guess I would need to know more about your extracurricular activities and interests as a whole, as most selective schools like to assess students holistically. AND, sometimes Ivy League schools take students who have 3.2 GPAs and sometimes they reject students with straight 4.0 GPAs (you never know for certain). However, with the information you have given…

Brown - low reach
Columbia - low reach
UPenn - low match
Harvard - reach (just because it’s HARVARD)
Cornell - low-mid match
Dartmouth - low reach
JHU - match
Northwestern - match
Notre Dame - match
Georgetown - match
UMich - high match
Washington - match

Chance me, please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1432979-chances-nyu-macaulay-fordham-columbia.html#post15213921</a></p>

thank u ill chance u back

UPenn, a low match? Low reach maybe, but PSU is a low match.

All ivies are high reaches for anyone. Period. Northwestern, Notre Dame, and Georgetown are low/medium-reaches. I agree that UMich, JHU, and WUSTL are matches. You definitely need more safeties; believe me, I’m in the same boat. I wish I could tell you they were all matches, nothing would make me happier; but the fact of the matter is that if I were to get your hopes up, I might end up dissuading you from applying to more match and safety schools.

For match schools, I reccomend GWU, American University, Harvey Mudd, Syracruse, UCs if you can afford them (i.e. in-state applicant), Brandeis, Hamilton, university of washington, or university of Virginia.

Safety schools: your flagship college(s), Santa Clara, Villanova, etc…

A couple more reaches you could consider are some Claremont colleges or Higher up UCs (Berkeley, UCLA), Duke.

thank you~

I think you could get into one or 2 ivies and most of the nonivies. Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1431373-chance-top-schools.html</a></p>
