Can you have Dual-Concentrations

I think I already know the answer to this question, but can you dual concentrate at Brown. IE i want to concentrate in both Biochemistry and marine Biology

[Let me google that for you](<a href=“LMGTFY - Let Me Google That For You”>LMGTFY - Let Me Google That For You)

^And in your case, not unless you want to stay an extra year. Double concentrating in the standard 4-year sequence is allowed for ScB/AB and AB/AB, but an ScB/ScB requires a fifth year.

Also, only one degree shows up on your diploma.

You can double concentrate in ScB+AB fields and finish in 4 years as long you don’t technically get the AB. The 5th year ScB/AB is a total waste. From an employer/grad school standpoint it makes no difference whether you’re an ScB in biochem and an AB in marine bio or an ScB with double concentration in biochem and marine bio.

EDIT: or ScB/ScB - whatever. As long as you can fit the courses in 4 years you can graduate in 4 years.
