can you have your transcript validated and still be rescinded??

I recent got my transcript validated but I didn't meet the provisional contract? I got a D in my physics class. I was so depressed about it and absolutely sure i was going to get my admission revoke, because I heard sd doesn't show mercy for D/F unless it was under extreme circumstances which wasn't my case. I've contact ucsd many times, and their response was very discouraging. The first time I spoke to an admission officer on the phone and he told me very coldly that yes my admission was going to be rescinded and I should look at other schools see if I could submit a late sir. I didn't want to give in just yet because it really seem like a generic answer he would have told anyone. So I emailed the office and they said they wouldn't be able to give me a definite answer. After I pretty much accepted the fact that I was going to community college. This experience has been hell, it suck the life out of my summer, but I was ready to come to terms, I mean it was my fault for getting the D and I understand that ucsd was just following procedures but then to my shock my transcript got validated =o So what is it???? am I in or out? I don't want to raise my hope and go on another roller coaster ride.

i know i messed up but really nobody deserves to have their hope raised and lowered and then raised again just to be lowered again

If it is validated: “requirement met,” then you should be just fine however, I can’t say anything about it and I am quite certain that nobody on this forum would be able to give you a definite answer cuz of of the absence of a UCSD admissions officer like the berkeley forum has and Davis too I guess,

CHEERS,
SYNCHROTRON

BTW, I love CAPS

Like synchrotron said, you should be fine but it’s not guaranteed, at least 90% chance you’re fine though. I doubt someone has ever gotten their transcript verifed and then got rescinded afterwards. Those who did get rescinded never got their transcripts verified.
