Hey, I am a junior in high school at a very competitive public school in St. Paul. Just to get it out of the way, here are my stats

3.97 W GPA
3.86 UW GPA
30/216 RANK (14%)
32 ACT
2 APs, 5 or 6 Honors Classes
Good EC's, but nothing substantial. Mainly centered around golf and working.

Anyways, I need help narrowing down my list of schools. I would prefer a mid-size school. A large state school is not ideal, but I would much rather go to one then a small liberal arts college. I would like it to be in or near a city, but not neccesarily urban. My perfect school would be a big sports oriented school, preferably with a more conservative environment. Just for the record, a school like Swarthmore, Macalester, or NYU is exactly the type of school I would NOT want to go to, so that my kind of give you an idea of what I'm looking for. The only school I know for sure I will be applying to is UW Madison. I would like to narrow it down to about 6 schools, so give me your opinions on the following schools:

Reach
-Vanderbilt
-Georgetown
-Duke
-Notre Dame
-Boston College

Match/Safety
-Wake Forest
-Wisconsin Madison
-Wake Forest
-Villanova
-Northeastern
-Minnesota Twin Cities
-Iowa
-Denver
-SLU
-Penn State UP
-Miami Ohio
-Clemson
-Kansas

By the way, I am planning on majoring in economics, if that helps. Thanks, and please tell me any schools you think I should look at as well.
