Can you help me trim my list down?

10 colleges are definitely way too much to apply too. So here is my list + a brief reason why I like them.

Note: I MUST apply to UCSD and SDSU. Basically my high school (Preuss School UCSD) agreed for all their students to apply to UCSD.

Claremont McKenna College- I don’t know if I should drop this or not. It’s my number 1 choice, but it’s quite a reach. I love this school because it emphasize on economics, international relations, etc.

Occidental- I love how this college is diverse, small, location, etc.

UCSD- My parents really want me to go here. It’s close to home. I don’t really like colleges with large student body, but I have to apply here anyway.

Chapman University- This is definitely my safety school. One of my close friend is going here (if she got accepted). I visited the campus and I love it.

UCI- My best friend is planning to go here (if she got accepted). I went here for COSMOS, I think the campus is okay, but the focus seems to be on biology.

UCSB- I love the location, but this is too much of a party school for me.

Pepperdine University- I love the location too, but I am not their faith. I don’t really want to go to church and take religion classes.

USD- This is my safety school

LMU- Safety

SDSU- Again, our counselor insist we apply to out local state school.

Please suggest which one I should drop. I hope my final list is down to 5 colleges. If you have any additional info on the colleges above, please share. If you have suggestion for other colleges (especially in Southern California), please reply.

Here my stats (brief):
-SAT: 2050
-GPA: 3.88 unweighted
-A lot of E.C.'s + Awards
