Can you legally withdraw money from your bank account to report a lower number of assets on FAFSA?

^^You can’t tell what aid it’s talking about. I had to fill in the asset info for state purposes even though my kids weren’t going to school in that state. It’s FAFSA, so if it wants the information the boxes are ‘lit up’ and if you can skip they are shaded out. You don’t decide what to skip and what not to skip (except that sometimes it will ask if you want to include assets anyway, and they you can answer no, and the boxes will be shaded.

@mommdc do you happen to know what designation I would put on Rafsanjani for :What degree will you be working on?" field. I currently am at a community college where only associate degrees are awarded but I plan to transfer to a four year before completing two years where I’m at now. would I choose the associated program anyway or choose the bachelors?

I would think you could put that you are working on a bachelor’s degree, if that is your ultimate goal.
