Need SAT and/or ACT scores? Also you need to calculate your CSU GPA at end of Junior year: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
Also need to calculate your Eligibility index:
(CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math + CR) or (CSU GPA x200) + (ACT comp x10).
Once you have all this information, then repost and you can be chanced. Also is CSUF, Fullerton or Fresno?
I have a SAT tutor, so im guessing an SAT score of 1750. Im dropping AP PHYSICS next year and taking business . So for second sem im guessing im going to get the same grades and an A in business. So from that, can you chance me? And for CSUF meaning fresno or fullerton, why not both
I get a CSU of 2.76 based on your posted grades and predicted grades. Other than AP Physics are any of the other classes, UC approved Honors or AP classes?
Bakersfield/Channel Islands: Probable acceptance
Fresno/LA/Northridge: Slight Reach
Fullerton: High Reach
Intended major?
No only physics. What do you think I should do to improve my chances of getting into LA or Northridge? and I forgot that I’m taking the new SAT, so my score could be 1250/1600
Idk about major, if I choose a Major that’s not as impacted, do I have a greater chance of getting in?
I am also a local to LA, if that helps
Non-impacted majors and campuses are easier admits. If you are local to CSULA, then you have a higher chance for an acceptance. The best two things you can do to improve your chances is to get better grades and a solid SAT score (the higher the better for Math and CR) since these are used in the EI calculation.
Repost at the end of your Junior year/Beginning of Senior year to reevaluate your chances and school choices.
Would you recommend any other CSUs i should apply for?
I would add Dominguez Hills, Stanislaus and East Bay since these are non-impacted campus and will most likely accept you with the minimum EI of 2900+. Much will depend upon your final CSU GPA and SAT scores. Right now, I would just concentrate on these 2 areas: Grades and Test scores. At the end of your Junior year, calculate your EI and see where you stand. With 23 CSU’s, there are many choices so the EI will determine where you have the best chances.
What minimum El do you think i should have to comfortably get accepted to CSULA or CSUN?
I have another question. If I had the same GPA but without any Ds, will I have a higher chance of getting into any of the CSU, or it doesn’t matter?
