i think you have a greatchance. SAT's are a bit low but your ACT looks good. and your GPA is really good. if its a 3.9 or 4.0 you should have no problem

You're in.

Thanks for replying guys!
I figured I had a good shot, so it's nice to have the reassurance!

"GPA: 3.6 (here) on PA Scale it's about a 3.9-4.0"

Where is "here"? Why would it scale higher in Pa?

^I don't get that either.
Am i missing something about how PA gpa's work!?

According to my counselor, the state of PA (along with most of VA) follows the standard grading scale of 90-100 is an A, 80-90 is a B...etc. Well in my county in VA. we use this scale determine GPA:

95-100 A 4.0
94-90 B+ 3.5
89-85 B 3.0
84-80 C+ 2.5
79-75 C 2.0
74-70 D+ 1.5
69-65 D 1.0
64 Below F

They don't determine your GPA based on what you average percent is, they do it based on the letter grade. Since I am a big B+ student, my GPA is around 3.6 even though my average percent is a high 94-95 which would be a 4.0 in any other VA county. Also, my school does not give additional credit for honor courses and only 0.5 additional credit for AP classes (even though most VA schools give an additional 0.5 for honors and 1.0 credit for APs). Basically, since my school kind of screws over our GPA's, they re-evaluate the GPA based on out of state requirements, and mention that on the transcript.

I hope that makes sense lol
