I'm a rising senior and I did horribly on the Stat test, in my defense I suck....ok?! But no, seriously, since I got this upcoming year can I just retake the test and replace my 3 score? It's my only non 5 AP score and admittedly that shouldn't be the case. Thanks in advance, you're awesome ;)

yes. If you choose not to cancel your 3 and you take it over again and get a 5, on your score report you’ll see both score but the 5 will be in bold (so only the 5 will count, not the 3). Or you can choose to entirely cancel the 3 and only the 5 will show.

How do I entirely cancel the 3? Can I do that after taking it again next May? AP testing is only in May right?

yep. you can cancel it now if you want. But in my opinion, you should keep it. I think it will look better to colleges to see that you took a test over, self-studied by yourself and improved by 2 points.

Thank you! I think I’m gonna do that. It was just a really bad test day for me. That test was really easy. I think I could get a 5 right now if I had a chance to take another stat test XD

@ Spiderpig72: I canceled an AP score last year. I’d self-studied for one test (Spanish Lit) but my class at school did not follow the AP curriculum at all, so I didn’t get through all the readings and ended up leaving one entire FRQ blank. Just go to this page linked below, scroll down to “Score Cancellation”, and follow the directions. Note that doing so will delete the score from next year’s score report, but not this year’s.

Thank you so much! Ill definitely do that. An extra thank you for providing the link :)
