Can you retake the SAT too many times?

Just wanted to tell you guys that I registered to take the test a final time in December.
2collegewego asked where I was looking into. Here’s my list;

SUNY Albany
SUNY Binghamton
City College
Fordham
U of Chicago
Yale
Princeton
Cornell
UVA
UNC: Chapel Hill
Washinton University in St. Louis

I looked into some liberal arts schools but I quickly realized that many don’t offer merit aid. Do you have any suggestions? I can still rework my list…

BUMP! I got my scores back from the December administration and got a 2150! (M: 700, CR: 740, WR: 710) THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!

That’s awesome!
Best of luck with the Apps!

That’s really great!. Your overall improvement is remarkable.

I don’t have any insight on your college choices, just wishing you good luck in the admissions process. Looks like you’ve got some good safeties just in case.

So–did you do any prep or did the moon, sun and stars align?

Awesome! Good luck!

Are you in-state for New York? Are those your financial safeties? Won’t they give you great merit?

Top LACs (Swarthmore, Williams, Amherst) have excellent need based aid, and I am pretty sure you will qualify for it.

Yeah, I’m instate in New York.
ellemenope; I did as many official practice tests as I could (I only had one blue book test left so I used the official practice tests that collegeboard.com provides) and when I ran out of those I used the ones from the Princeton Review Book. After analyzing my score report form the Oct test I realized that what killed me in CR was vocab (I only got 2 reading comprehension questions wrong), so I did every Vocab set in the Barrons CR workbook.
For the writing portion, I read this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/645763-how-write-12-essay-just-10-days.html</a> and it helped me bump my writing score from an 8 to an 11…
