I applied last year and was rejected (odds are this was because my GPA was below admissions standards); my essays were one of my application’s strengths and took several weeks to write. Now I’m applying as a transfer, and I’m wondering if I can update and reuse personal essays that I submitted with my freshman application. The questions are the same or similar, all of the information is still applicable and completely rewriting them seems pointless. Is this a time saver or an application killer?
