<p>There's something called "Berkeley time" which allots a student an extra ten minutes between classes. I'm assuming if a class starts at 12:30 on the schedule it doesn't really start until 12:40.</p>
<p>You might want to look at a campus map though to see how far away your classes will be. But from what I've been told at CalSo being a little late isn't really a big deal most of the time.</p>
<p>Also, sometimes I schedule my classes where a couple of them overlap each other by 20-30 min... as long is it's not section then I'm usually fine since they don't usually take role in lecture classes.</p>
