Can you see my chances in getting into NYU?

First of all, I go to one of the top high school in the district and I have been in the 'Tech' program for all of my high school years until now. I took 5 AP's so far and have passed all of the class, but I got 2 C's in two of my classes during the second semester of my Junior year. I really struggled during my Junior year as you can see how I got C's my classes, but all the rest of the years were A average. These are some rest of my specs:

Major: psychology
GPA(unweighted): 3.46
GPA(weighted): 3.9
SAT: 1890(but will take one more next month)
SAT 2's: 800 Korean, 780 Math 2
AP classes: 7 including now

Extra curricular's: orchestra for 4 years, first chair in orchestra for two years, established a club called Liberty in North Korea(co-pres) at my school, Internship, church elementary small group teacher for two years, volunteer at a disabled people organization for two years, and another volunteer at a hospital for a year

I hope these will be enough for you guys to see if I can possibly get into NYU! Thank You so much!

Your numbers are relatively low (tests and GPA.) And your ECs are too extraordinary to be honest. What school are you applying to?

I’m applying to NYU, USC, Pepperdine, Northeastern, and UCI

And I don’t get what you mean by ‘extraordinary’, does it mean it sounds fake or something?

No like which specific NYU school are you applying to? And like nothing stands out.

Extraordinary means the exact opposite of extra ordinary.

Your weighed GPA is average, but your unweighed is a bit low. SAT’s are low as well. Your EC’s are amazing, and so are your subject tests, so that should give you a bit of an edge, but not too much. Focus on first semester grades, that might weight out your 3.46 GPA. Anyway, I also made a Chance me thread.[thread=1398678]Can you chance me please? Click this link.[/thread]
