Can you send in your SAT score even after you sent in college applications?

Most definitely. Just send in an offical score report and they’ll update the information.

How late would be too late?

As long as you take the SAT before the last date that counts for admissions, which is usually specified on the colleges’ websites.

Usually it is either the month of the deadline or the month before. For example, if the school’s application deadline is January 1, it most probably accepts the December SAT and may accept the January SAT. It depends on the school. Schools generally accept scores after the deadline; the deadline is mostly for the application itself.

According to the admission info at Harvard:

[Harvard College Admissions § Applying: Freshman Application Process](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/application_process/index.html)

Deadline for undergraduate applications is January 1st. However, you can still send your January SAT scores or February ACT scores.

How about for UC’s, what’s the last date for that??

Last year, UCs accept scores up to December. I would assume the same this year.

[University of California Admissions](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/freshman/examination_reqs.html)

You should check with all the colleges you plan to apply to. Usually you can find such info on their web site. Each one might have a different deadline for sending in scores or transcripts often the deadline is after the app deadline.
