I'm trying to set mine up. My xbox recognizes the network but won't connect to the internet...

You are allowed to use gaming devices on the Residence Hall network, ResNet. Gaming devices using a wired connection need only be plugged into the network.

Gaming devices using a wireless connection must be registered. However, using wireless connections is NOT recommended since the connection is both slower and shared with others. The residence halls with wireless coverage are:

* Landis Hall
- DeGraff Hall, both A and B
- Wildwood Hall, both A and B

If a slower, shared, wireless connection is desired, please register by submitting a Repair Ticket. When completing the Repair Ticket include the following information for registration:

* Game System Type
- MAC Address (see instructions below for finding your MAC address
- Serial Number
- Your contact details
