<p>...gotta love governmental transparency!</p>

<p>anyway, how about some chances? i wont complain about low scores/gpa or make excuses, i will take it in stride...so please give me your honest opinions =)</p>

<p>Ethnicity - Indian
Gender - Male
Very competitive High School</p>

<p>GPA: 3.85W / 3.53 UW (I have above a 4.0 for senior year so far...i didnt take that into account)</p>

<p>SATs: M-780 CR-720 W-780 (1500/2280)</p>

<p>SAT IIs: Math IIc - 730, BioE - 720</p>

<p>APs: calcAB 5, statistics 5</p>

<p>(current APs - psychology, biology, calculus BC, european history)
* i've taken all honors/AP courses.</p>

<p>ECs:
- Youth Council - volunteer organization within community (250+ hours) - Vice president
- hospital volunteer - about 30 hours
- MUN - vice president for 2 years, various conferences
- Asian club - run annual asian show - treasurer
- medical futures club
- national honor society (11,12)
- history honor society (11,12)
- Tae-Kwon-Do for 7 years
- I play the dhol, an Indian instrument (about 3 years)</p>

<p>Other:
- I took a credit chemistry course over the summer and got an A
- I was a part of a medical program over the summer that focused on human anatomy and provided various lectures on medicine. It was really cool! (the bad part is, though, that it was a program I had to pay for, not really a free research-type deal...)</p>

<p>Subjective:
Essays: great (my why-essays were personal but explained my interest in genetics)
Teacher rec: Awesome
Counselor rec: good (she has a lot of students and doesn't know me too well)</p>

<p>Hello, I would definitely put you at a great place for ALL of these colleges. Your SAT is like outstanding and is above average for all of them except for like Rice/Duke. GPA is a smidget low, but I would definitely say for you to try to apply to them all.</p>

<p>RELIABLE: UNC Chapel, U Chicago
REALISTIC: Cornell, WUSTL, JHU, Rice
REACH: Duke</p>

<p>I don't think your GPA is a problem. Especially if you have all A's senior year.</p>
