Can you start college applications as a junior?

I am a Junior and wanted to get a head start on the College Application process filling out all those online applications now. Most of my senior friends said that it is possible to do it, but how do I get started? Or, is it even possible right now? When is the earliest I can get started?

You can look at applications, even fill them out if you want, but you’ll probably have to do it over. The Common Application and most other colleges delete all online accounts on August 1st. Thus, August 1st is the first day you can actually start filling them out.

However, you can certainly look at them or start writing essays now, if you like. But don’t obsess over it, you have time.

It’s not worth it to start now…Like Billy Mc said, August 1st is the earliest. Like, if you really want, brainstorm possible essay topics and maybe draft, but in all likelihood you’re going to redo them completely between now and Sept/October…
