I'll bet you already know the answer to this. What does your common sense tell you?

Here is the relevant link:
Brown Program in Liberal Medical Education

but it's vague!
like it says if you apply early, but not if you apply regular!

lol, why are people here so critical? wouldn't it have been even easier for you, midwesterner, to have just given the answer?
oprah!, i'm pretty sure you can be accepted to brown if you're rejected by plme rd

I wasn't trying to be critical. There is expression about giving a man a fish versus teaching him to fish which applies here.

If the OP has not read the requirements for PLME, don't you think she should? If she has a question about a certain section, I would be happy to answer it.

A student elects whether to enter the ED or RD round if rejected from PLME.

I just read the website, and it's crystal clear to me.

University policy dictates that no candidate for admission be denied solely on the basis of the degree program for which he or she seeks consideration. Therefore, those applicants not admitted to the PLME are still considered candidates to the College for the bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree.

... some students may be selected for admission to the College but not the PLME.

And you can apply regular decision to PLME.

they only ask you so explicitly during ED because if you apply to PLME ED and only get accepted to Brown, you are now committed to Brown. Maybe you only wanted to go to Brown if you could do PLME, or at least, if you can't do PLME, you want to play the field with other combined programs. With RD, if they send you an acceptance letter to just the college, it doesn't really cost anyone anything.
